My Personal & Professional Journey

Relationships are complex, and every couple faces challenges.

Whether you’re dating, engaged, or married, navigating conflict, rebuilding trust, or deepening emotional intimacy can feel overwhelming.

As someone who has experienced divorce, remarriage, and the joys and challenges of raising two incredible children (now 18 and 13), I understand firsthand how relationships evolve and how essential it is to have the right tools to nurture them.

With a background in Marriage & Family Therapy, I specialize in helping couples work through common relationship struggles, including:

  • Communication Breakdowns – Learning to express needs clearly and listen with understanding

  • Conflict Resolution – Moving from repeated arguments to productive conversations

  • Infidelity Recovery – Rebuilding trust and connection after betrayal

  • Life Transitions – Adjusting to marriage, parenthood, or career shifts while maintaining intimacy

  • Premarital & Discernment Counseling – Strengthening your foundation before taking the next step

Relationships require care, intention, and skillful guidance. Whether you’re struggling to reconnect or trying to decide if your relationship can be restored, therapy can provide the clarity and tools you need.

A Personal Perspective on Love & Resilience

Having been through a divorce and later remarriage, I deeply appreciate how relationships evolve and the effort required to keep them thriving.

I understand the heartbreak of disconnection and the joy of rebuilding something stronger.

My personal and professional experiences allow me to guide couples through the complexities of love, loss, and renewal with empathy and practical strategies.

Co-Parenting – Navigating Parenthood as a Team

Parenting is one of life’s greatest joys—and one of the biggest relationship challenges. Whether you're parenting within a marriage, co-parenting after separation, or blending families, raising children while maintaining a strong partnership requires patience, flexibility, and clear communication.

As a therapist and having personal co-parenting experiences, I understand the emotional complexities of co-parenting. Differences in parenting styles, discipline approaches, and family routines can create tension, but they don’t have to lead to ongoing conflict. I help parents and co-parents develop strategies to:

  • Communicate Effectively – Reducing misunderstandings and creating a shared parenting approach

  • Manage Conflict – Navigating disagreements with respect and problem-solving skills

  • Set Healthy Boundaries – Balancing personal needs with what’s best for the children

  • Foster Stability for Kids – Providing consistency and emotional security in different households

Co-parenting isn’t just about logistics—it’s about creating a supportive, respectful dynamic where children thrive. Whether you're navigating a difficult co-parenting relationship or striving to strengthen teamwork with your partner, therapy can help you build a foundation of cooperation and care.
